Hello 🙂 I am Tina, and I am a clinical social worker licensed in Louisiana and Rhode Island. I have over 20 years of professional work experience in the behavioral health field in addition to a plethora of life experience. I earned my BA in psychology, then went on to earn my MSSW in 2017 from University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work.
My therapy style is pretty laid back. I aim to bring humor, comfort, warmth, and affirmation to my clients. My primary area of clinical expertise is trauma processing. I have experience helping clients with trauma related issues, including PTSD, C-PTSD, and working with adults who have experienced childhood interpersonal trauma and abuse. I also specialize in grief processing support, including grief related to pet loss. I enjoy working with adults with ADHD and autism. I am neurodivergent affirming, child-free affirming, a BIPOC ally, and LGBTQIA+ ally. If you find yourself often feeling like you don’t quite belong or fit in, you will be a great fit to work with me 🙂
Each individual is unique, so therapy should be too! We will work together to determine the therapeutic approach that works best for you and set goals to reach for along the way. My primary goal as your therapist is to create a safe space for you to feel heard, understood, and valued, where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. In this space, we will work towards the change you wish to see in your life. Let’s work together!

Many people wonder whether virtual therapy can truly help. For common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be similarly effective to traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Clients can connect with their therapist in the format that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to integrate care into a busy schedule.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical and effective path to support and growth.
