Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in the UK with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy related issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence.
There are two main elements to my approach:
The first is to support you in understanding and working through whatever is playing out in your life in the present moment, such as anxiety, depression or relationship difficulties.
The other is to connect these current challenges to any adverse or traumatic experiences that you have experienced in the past. This also includes exploring your family history to acknowledge any inter-generational traumas which may be impacting you.
Certain practices can then be done to bring your attention to those wounded parts of yourself, creating space for more inner peace and wholeness. This includes Brainspotting, which is an approach similar to EMDR which uses specific eye positions to access unprocessed trauma. If you are interested to learn more there is lots of information available online.
This approach is completely unique and helps you get to the root of your issues, supporting and strengthening those parts of you which need it the most. I also have extensive experience with mindfulness and meditation, which can often support the therapeutic process .
In our sessions, you can expect a judgement free space in which you can feel safe to express yourself freely and authentically. I am also a friendly and good-humoured person, and can help you to feel at ease through any of the challenges that may arise when beginning counselling.
I look forward to meeting you,
Tim

Timothy Anderson is a UK-licensed therapist with five years of professional experience who supports people facing relationship and family difficulties as well as challenges around intimacy, self-esteem and motivation.
His work combines two complementary strands. One strand focuses on understanding and working through whatever is present in a client’s life right now, whether that is anxiety, depression or relationship strains. The other strand links current difficulties to past adverse or traumatic experiences, including exploration of family history and possible inter-generational impacts.
He offers practical therapeutic practices to bring attention to wounded parts of the self and create more inner calm and integration. This includes Brainspotting, an approach similar to EMDR that uses specific eye positions to access unprocessed trauma, and he also draws on mindfulness and meditation to support the therapeutic process.
Sessions are delivered in a non-judgemental space where clients can express themselves authentically. Timothy is known for a friendly, good-humoured manner that helps people feel at ease as they begin counselling. He works from a non-religious, liberal perspective and brings specific experience with issues such as addictions, trauma and abuse, grief, eating and parenting concerns, anger, career transitions, compassion fatigue, ADHD and more.
He looks forward to meeting new clients and helping them strengthen the parts of themselves that need support most.
Many people question whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits their life, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit regular therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapy offered online is provided by licensed professionals, and clients can switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people, remote therapy offers an accessible and practical route to support and change.
