Tiffany Michaud is a Wisconsin-based Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience supporting people of all ages through challenging life moments.
She emphasizes connection as the foundation of therapy, creating a nonjudgmental, empathetic space where clients can be heard and understood. Her work is client-centered and integrative, combining evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, strengths-based approaches, mind and body techniques, person-centered work, and trauma-informed care to help people build resilience, gain clarity, and develop practical coping skills.
Tiffany holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and a Master of Science in School Counseling from UW-Stout. She is a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor (WI LPC 11662-125) and a Wisconsin Department of Instruction Licensed School Counselor (PK-12). Her additional training includes a Child & Adolescent Counseling Certificate and certification as a Mindfulness Teacher.
Her areas of focus include stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, grief, depression, coping with life changes, family dynamics, trauma and abuse, intimacy-related issues, parenting, self-esteem, career matters, coaching, and compassion fatigue. She is a female, older, non-religious, liberal therapist who aims to meet each person where they are and tailor care to individual strengths and values.
Tiffany approaches therapy as a collaboration, guiding clients toward meaningful, sustainable change while honoring their expertise about their own lives. She welcomes those who are ready to take the next step toward growth and well-being and offers support across a range of personal and relational concerns.
