Teresa Johnston is a Person-Centred counsellor and mindfulness teacher based in the United Kingdom with three years of professional experience supporting people through periods of change, loss and emotional overwhelm.
Her background spans work in both healthcare and therapeutic settings, and she provides a warm, compassionate space where clients can be fully heard without judgment, pressure or expectation.
Teresa has supported people dealing with stress and burnout, anxiety and emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges and communication difficulties, grief and complex loss, low self-esteem, life transitions such as career or health changes, and other personal struggles that affect everyday living.
Her approach is grounded in deep respect for each person’s lived experience. She does not offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions; instead she works gently and collaboratively alongside clients to help them make sense of what has been hard and to move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they truly are.
Teresa recognises the courage it takes to ask for support and aims to walk alongside people on the path ahead. She holds a Professional Diploma in Counselling and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Stirling. She is also a qualified mindfulness teacher and a registered member of both COSCA and BACP, working in line with their ethical frameworks to provide client-centred care.
