Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio with over 20 years’ experience in all levels of mental health care, and trained in several treatment modalities (CBT, ACT, IFS, Rogerian, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused, and Experiential). I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at James Madison University in Virginia, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Xavier University in Cincinnati.
I believe that we are all wired to find equilibrium – the state of rest and balance with our body, mind, and spirit. But sometimes outside influences like relationships, work, money, illnesses, politics, and world issues keep that from happening. We take a few steps forward, only to get pushed back much further. If you find yourself struggling to cope and hold things together in the midst of stress, loss, and/or a radical change, Life is likely calling for you to grow. Engaging in therapy is like going on a journey with a trusted guide who sees, hears, teaches, and supports you wholeheartedly. I am a therapist who can lead you to new insights, challenge outdated beliefs and patterns, heal old wounds, and develop the skills to cope with life adversities – now and in the future.

Tanya Younce is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio (OH LPCC E.0004251) with more than 20 years of experience across all levels of mental health care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Her clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Rogerian approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused methods, and experiential techniques.
She views humans as naturally oriented toward equilibrium – a balanced state of body, mind, and spirit – and recognizes that external pressures such as relationships, work, finances, health issues, politics, and global events can interrupt that balance. Progress can feel stalled or reversed when stress, loss, or major life changes take hold.
In practice, Tanya approaches therapy as a collaborative journey in which she listens, teaches, and offers steady support. She helps clients gain fresh insights, challenge unhelpful beliefs and patterns, address and heal past wounds, and build practical skills to manage current challenges and future adversities.
