Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and hold a current License with the Minnesota Board of Psychology.
My approach in working with people is to try to help them understand how thoughts, behaviors and emotions interact and to look for ways to re-think the situation, create new behaviors, and to improve their emotional state to allow for better coping mechanisms.
I like to work together to define the issues and establish goals toward resolving them.
Along the way we would keep checking in about the difficult emotions that may come up during the process and look for ways to deal with them.
I also like to help people look for ways that they can use what is being learned here to help when other life issues arise (as they always do!).

Tamolyn Benke is a Minnesota-based psychologist with 20 years of clinical experience. She holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and maintains an active license from the Minnesota Board of Psychology to practice in the state.
Her work centers on helping people see how thoughts, behaviors, and emotions influence one another and identifying practical ways to change unhelpful patterns. She guides clients to reframe situations, experiment with new behaviors, and strengthen emotional skills so coping becomes more effective.
Tamolyn prefers a collaborative process: she and the client define the concerns, set clear goals, and track progress together. Throughout therapy she checks in about difficult feelings as they arise and explores strategies to manage them. She also focuses on building skills that clients can carry forward to handle future life challenges.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, research has shown that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the connection method that fits their needs, whether that is a video session, a phone call, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit regular care into a busy schedule.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they need a different fit. For everyday mental health and life challenges, remote therapy offers an accessible option that delivers comparable outcomes to in-person treatment for many common issues.
