Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello. My name is Stacey Anne Charles-Polycarpe. I am a bilingual (English/Creole) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and Texas. I have over 9 years of counseling experience working with a diverse population with a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, bullying, academic concerns, parenting issues, and relationship issues. Moreover, I have supported and assisted those who have experienced emotional and/or physical trauma.
My approach to therapy is with compassion and acceptance. My treatment approach combines, cognitive behavioral, solution- focused, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy. However, I am open to adapt to the needs of each unique individual during treatment. I have extensive experience working with at risk youth, social services, foster care, and homelessness. I have training in Trauma-focused CBT, motivational interviewing, and play therapy with a certification in Infant Mental Health-Attachment Therapy.
I truly believe individuals have a desire to be their best self; however, life and its many challenges may have you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and stuck. While incorporating compassion and acceptance in therapy, a person’s guards and self- defensives begin to decrease; therefore, true healing and introspective work can begin. Congratulations, on taking the biggest step toward your wellness journey, please allow me to support you on your route.
Look forward to working with you.
All My Best,
