Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Stacey and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa, with over nine years of experience providing therapy services. Prior to that, I have worked with individuals and families as a behavioral health intervention specialist and a domestic abuse advocate.
I primarily work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges and/or struggling with managing emotions, stress, and anger.
I received my undergraduate and masters degree in Social Work at the University of South Dakota. My approach to therapy is warm, interactive, and client centered. I consider the client/therapist relationship to be one of the most important things in counseling. I believe clients are the experts on their lives and I am here to support and empower you. I aim to assist clients in learning the strategies and coping skills best tailored to their individual situation. I draw my approach from a combination of styles; trauma-focused, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research and practice have found online therapy to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
Online work also offers notable flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable for you, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and if you decide you would prefer a different therapeutic fit you have the option to switch therapists. For many people, online therapy is a practical, effective way to access consistent support when addressing everyday mental health concerns.
