Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I help people to create the life that they want through owning their narrative and finding their voice. My philosophy is centered around teaching people how to rewrite their narrative and become the main character in their life. I believe we live our lives through stories and experiences. From the stories we’ve been told about ourselves to the ones we’ve adopted over time. I counseling approach utilizes narrative and bibliotherapy. Narrative therapy allows you to separate yourself from your problems or concerns. If all your life you were told that you were worthless or unlovable some point you may start to believe that narrative. Narrative therapy helps you re-write and take ownership of your story and your life.

Sonni Parks (Williams) helps people create the life they want by guiding them to own their personal narrative and find their voice.
Her approach centers on teaching how to rewrite limiting stories and step into the main role of one’s life. She views daily living as shaped by the stories people tell about themselves and by narratives they adopt over time.
In counseling she combines narrative therapy with bibliotherapy to support reflection and change. Narrative therapy gives clients space to separate themselves from their problems so persistent messages – such as feeling unworthy or unlovable – can be examined and rewritten. Bibliotherapy adds reading and written resources to reinforce insight and growth.
She is a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina and has six years of clinical experience. Sonni Parks (Williams) practices in South Carolina and works with people seeking to reshape their story and build a life that feels more authentic.
