Difficult periods and unexpected life changes affect many people, and Shevene Bryant offers steady support to help individuals and families find healing and growth. With a warm, empathetic approach, she helps clients understand their situations, develop coping strategies, and move forward productively rather than facing these challenges alone.
Shevene holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Counseling, and she is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina. Her clinical background includes work in mental health centers, hospitals, and private practice, and she has more than 25 years of counseling experience with individuals, couples, children, teens, and families.
Shevene is the author of a child’s book titled Emotions and brings a clear passion for therapeutic work to each session. She specializes in areas including stress, anxiety, family conflicts, grief, parenting issues, depression, addictions, LGBT concerns, trauma and abuse, eating and sleeping disorders, anger management, self-esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, coaching, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Her clinical style is person-centered, multicultural, and integrative, which means she begins where a client is and tailors treatment to individual needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is also used as part of her toolbox, allowing her to adapt interventions to the goals and circumstances of those she sees.
