Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in California with 40 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, & parenting issues. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
A little more about my background: I believe in staying current with the latest knowledge of psychology, neurology and biology. I maintain contact with educational institutions so that while obtaining the most current information, it is with a critical eye to the importance of the methodology used to do the research. My work with you will be selected from the best methods available that fits you and your choices. You will become an expert in you. If you are working with your family or a partner, you will develop skills and have access to become comfortable with being a confident, loving parent and or partner with the people you will be with for the rest of your lives: therapy is always available but you will become the expert with your family and husband, wife or partner. One of the most important aspects of our work will be to know how to repair the ruptures of everyday life. My training includes an NIMH Fellowship in Community Mental health where I worked with all ages, backgrounds, orientations. I helped to found the first shelters, creating children support programs. I have learned with Dr. Alicia Lieberman, PhD to help families with challenges. I became a credentialed school counselor so I could help families navigate early identification, IEP’s and 504s ensuring children get access to an appropriate education. I spent time learning with Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges, Daniel Siegel, and others who have emphasized the multiple ways we can help the people with whom we are privileged to work. And the importance of helping to develop self compassion and self kindness. Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to be present for your growth.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is convenience – clients can meet with therapists in the format that fits their lives, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to keep regular appointments and integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Every therapist offering online services is a licensed professional, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they need a different fit. For many people, the combination of evidence-based care and flexible access makes online therapy a practical and effective option for addressing everyday mental health needs.
