I hold a Master’s in Counseling, as well as a Doctorate in Developmental Psychology, and am licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. I have 24 years of experience working with a wide variety of issues, including self-esteem and body image issues, grief and loss, marriage, divorce, blended families, parental alienation, infertility, parenting, adoption and foster care, menopause, care-giving, stage of life transitions, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, narcissistic abuse, work-related stress, family dynamics, and adjustment to issues specific to teens and young adults entering college or adult life. I make it a point to treat my clients with respect, cultural sensitivity, and compassion and will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Sarah Groff is a licensed counselor with 24 years of clinical experience, based in North Carolina. She holds a Master’s in Counseling and a Doctorate in Developmental Psychology, and she is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina – SC LPC 9043 (Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina) and NC LCMHC 13315 (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina).
Over her career she has worked with a broad range of concerns, including self-esteem and body image issues, grief and loss, marriage and divorce, blended families, parental alienation, infertility, parenting, adoption and foster care, menopause, caregiving, life stage transitions, depression and mood disorders, anxiety and OCD, narcissistic abuse, work-related stress, family dynamics, and adjustment challenges faced by teens and young adults entering college or adult life. She also offers support for stress, relationship difficulties, and other emotional challenges.
Sarah approaches each person with respect, cultural sensitivity, and compassion, and she designs conversations and treatment plans to meet each individual’s specific needs.
