I am a licensed therapist in the UK with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ+ related issues, relationships, trauma, abuse, eating disorders and neurodiversity conditions such as Autism and ADHD.
My therapeutic approach involves using what issues the client brings to the session and guiding them accordingly which ultimately gives them autonomy on how to solve the problem. I can also be directive in nature where needed asking questions and employing techniques to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD. This can be through conversation, written work or practical demonstrations.
I have worked extensively in the criminal justice system and in the community with survivors of trauma. I will always be honest on how much I can help you and enable you to make the best decision on whether I am the right fit for you.
Thankyou for reading and speak soon ,
Sam 🙂

Sam Ball is a licensed therapist based in the United Kingdom with 4 years of professional experience. He works with people across a range of concerns, including LGBTQ+ matters, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, eating disorders, and neurodiversity such as Autism and ADHD.
As a male, gay therapist of color who is non-religious, Sam brings a perspective shaped by those identities while keeping the focus on each person’s individual needs. His practice includes work with survivors of trauma in community settings and experience within the criminal justice system.
Sam’s approach is primarily client-led – he uses the issues a person brings to guide sessions and supports clients to find their own solutions. When appropriate, he can take a more directive role, asking focused questions and using specific techniques to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This clinical work may involve conversation, written exercises, or practical demonstrations.
He aims to be clear about the level of support he can offer and to help potential clients decide whether he is the right fit for their therapy needs.
