Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hey there, call me Bob. Having been a therapist for 22 years, I know that the only thing I know about you right now is that you don’t care about my expertise and credentials until you know how much I care. I care. I really do. It’s my greatest asset. It’s the central mission of my life, to help you.
Besides that, I do also have some great expertise and credentials.
My wife, my greatest blessing, and I are both therapists and are very happily married. In 2022, we moved here to Saint Pete Florida — fulfilling a life long dream of living by the beach — from Omaha where I ran a successful mental health and substance abuse treatment center in the Dundee neighborhood. Before my 22 years of professional therapy experience, I earned 8 years of experience in AA and NA. I’ve been clean (drug-free) and sober (alcohol-free) and happy (depression-free) and calm (anxiety-free) since February 15, 1993. I’d like to help you through what I’ve been through. Addiction. Depression. Anxiety. Finding and fulfilling my God given purpose. Building a great business. Developing the mindset that cashes in on the stock market and real estate. Nurturing great relationships, with others and with God. Most recently, I’ve lost 85 pounds with Weight Watchers.
Of utmost importance to me is respecting people’s choices without judgment. Up to this point in your life you truly made the best decisions you could make with the resources you had. You did your best. You did everything you know to do. Let me give you some new resources with which to make better decisions. That is why I treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion in alignment with the principles and practices of Motivational Interviewing and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and I will keep you encouraged. You know more about how to make your life better and feel better than you think you do. I know the questions to ask you to get you there. Come talk with me. You’ll be glad you did.

Prof. Robert Neve, LPC brings 22 years of professional therapy experience and believes that the first requirement for effective care is genuine concern for the person sitting across from him. He views caring as his greatest asset and the central mission of his work – to help others pursue healthier, more fulfilling lives.
He is credentialed as LPC, which stands for Licensed Professional Counselor, and is licensed in Nebraska as an independent mental health practitioner (NE LIMHP 1287). That combination of clinical training and state licensure supports the breadth of issues he addresses in practice.
He and his wife, who is also a therapist, are happily married. In 2022 they moved to Saint Pete, Florida to fulfill a long-held dream of living by the beach, after years in Omaha where he operated a successful mental health and substance abuse treatment center in the Dundee neighborhood. Prior to his 22 years of professional practice, he accumulated eight years of recovery experience in AA and NA, and he has been drug-free, alcohol-free, and reports being free of depression and anxiety since February 15, 1993.
Prof. Neve works with a wide range of concerns including addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, relationship and intimacy issues, grief, stress, career and coaching work, eating and sleeping struggles, self-esteem, and coping with life changes. He also draws on experience with purpose discovery, business development, investing mindsets, real estate, and faith-informed relationship building. He completed a significant personal health change, losing 85 pounds with Weight Watchers, and often integrates practical, experience-based strategies into his work.
Respect for each person’s choices is fundamental to his approach. He assumes people have made the best decisions available to them with the resources they had, and he offers new resources and perspectives without judgment. His practice aligns with the principles and techniques of Motivational Interviewing and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and he aims to provide respectful, sensitive, and compassionate care. Seeking a fuller, happier life takes courage; he focuses on encouragement and asking the right questions to help people move forward.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, evidence shows that remote therapy is comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person work for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the communication mode that fits their life, including video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to attend sessions regularly and integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online services, and clients may switch therapists if they seek a different fit. For many people coping with everyday mental health challenges, remote therapy offers an accessible, practical path to consistent support and progress.
