Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome to Online Counselling, I am a MBACP Integrative Counsellor and FHT Therapeutic Body Psychotherapist.
With over 14 years experience in helping clients with stress, depression, anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, dissociation disorders, PTSD, long term illness, MS, fibromyalgia, learning disabilities, and forms of autism spectrum disorders.
Online Counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment. This may include expressing feelings that are painful, and which many of us experience at times in certain periods in our lives. When this happens it can be difficult to stay positive and cope with everyday life. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
As a Therapeutic Body Psychotherapist we can explore at your own pace, choice and time. Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Breathing and Relaxation techniques can help you with this process and helps you alongside your self-discovery of your mind, body and soul healing journey.
I look forward to supporting you on your Journey.

Pennie Sheppard is an experienced MBACP Integrative Counsellor and an FHT Therapeutic Body Psychotherapist who offers online counselling from the United Kingdom. With 15 years of practice, she has worked with a wide range of difficulties including stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, self-esteem issues, coping with life changes, relationship problems, grief, anger, depression and compassion fatigue.
She combines integrative talking therapies with therapeutic body-focused approaches, allowing clients to explore emotional and physical responses at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Her work also draws on Gestalt therapy, mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques to support clients as they discover links between mind and body during the healing process.
Pennie treats each person with respect, sensitivity and compassion, tailoring conversations and treatment plans to meet individual needs. She welcomes adults seeking help from a female, older therapist perspective and is able to work with people of Christian faith as well as those who are non-religious.
She offers online sessions designed to help people express painful feelings, rebuild motivation and cope with everyday life when challenges make it hard to stay positive. Pennie looks forward to supporting clients on their journey and often shares the reminder: “You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf” (Jon Kabat-Zinn).
Many people ask whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to access support from different locations.
Each therapist available is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy provides an accessible route to professional support for many common mental health and life challenges.
