Neil Beveridge

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am an accredited counsellor in the UK with 3 years of experience helping clients find healthy ways to cope with issues including bereavement and other life changes, depression, addiction and relationship problems.

Counselling can provide you with a safe space unlike any other, in which you can really explore what’s going on for you without fear of judgment or disapproval. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change, and my aim is to help you tap into your own inner resources to manage the challenges you’re facing.

I follow a person-centred approach, which means I take my cues from you regarding the path along which therapy will flow. We will only ever go towards an issue at your pace and as far as you are comfortable approaching. You are always in control of the direction and speed we travel during counselling sessions.

Having been through therapy myself I understand the courage it takes to reach out for support. By just visiting this site you’ve taken a huge step towards acknowledging that you want to make changes happen in your life and, when you’re ready, I’m here to help you take the next step.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people ask whether remote counselling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life. Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different fit would help, they can switch therapists at any time. Overall, online therapy offers practical access and comparable effectiveness for many everyday mental health needs.
