Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there!
I am Michaela, a Counsellor based in the Cotswolds in UK.
My training includes a Degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Hypnotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
Being a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCS) means that as well as abiding to their code of ethics, I have a high level of training and supervised experience.
My approach is collaborative, respectful and non-judgemental. As a Pluralistic Counsellor, I tailor my theoretical approach to your individual needs, meaning that I work using my intake of different approaches and techniques (Person-centred, Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy etc.)
If you are looking for friendly and professional support to go through a difficult time in your life I can help you overcome your problems and achieve your goals using a range of psychotherapy approaches.
Together we can work through whatever issues you bring, so that you can live up to your full potential, feel fulfilled and make more satisfying life choices.
Learning more about your thoughts, behaviours and feelings, will help you in your relationships, work life and home life. Through counselling you may find new perspectives, feel more resilient and be better equipped to deal with all of life’s challenges.
The key to a successful outcome is to build up the therapeutic relationship together. Our sessions can be short or long term, at a pace that you feel comfortable with.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person counselling.
One major benefit is practical flexibility – clients can meet their therapist in the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity when life circumstances change.
All therapists providing online care are licensed professionals, and if a different match is needed it is possible to switch to another therapist. Online therapy offers many of the same therapeutic tools and conversations as face-to-face work, while giving more options for how and when people access support.
