Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Melissa Teasley, MS, LPC. I am a therapist licensed in Missouri with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, substance abuse and addiction, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, etc.
In addition to my education, I also have personal experiences that have increased my resilience and understanding of difficult situations in life. I believe in a warm, comfortable, and laid-back counseling environment.
I personally don’t believe that I have to wear a dress or suit to make a good first impression. I am a regular person, like everyone else, who just happens to have educational and professional experience in the therapy career field. I would like my clients to feel safe and comfortable speaking with me. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindful, and person-centered therapies. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For most common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable to them – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals deliver online therapy, and you have the option to switch therapists if you would prefer a different fit. For many, the combination of accessible formats and professional care makes online therapy a practical choice for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
