Martha “Marty” Mauppin is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who graduated from the University of Maryland and brings 16 years of clinical experience. She has worked across diverse settings, including with the homeless population in New York, providing in-home therapy, and offering services in schools and office environments.
Marty has provided individual, family, and couples counseling and has concentrated on concerns such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic attacks, and behavioral issues. She also has experience supporting people facing substance use concerns, dual diagnoses, phase-of-life and adjustment difficulties, abuse and trauma, low self-esteem, relationship problems, social skills challenges, attention and concentration difficulties, and parenting issues, among other areas of concern.
She is licensed to practice in North Carolina as a clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC, license number 4714).
