Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have 29 years of professional work experience all based in the UK. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I will listen carefully to help you find the way forward that is right for you, working with you collaboratively.
If you know you are only going to sign up to Better Health for one or two months, do let me know this at the beginning, as it means we can focus our work in a particular way. For most clients, longer term working (months rather than weeks) is a better mindset, as it means we can work thoroughly to explore and hopefully prevent issues from arising again, which would not be achievable in just a few weeks. However, we live in the real world don’t we, with winter fuel costs looming and our budgets aren’t all we’d like them to be – so do just say if for now our time together might be shorter, and we can adapt what we do to bring about the most useful outcome in the time we have.
thanks

Lin Hudson has 29 years of professional experience, all practised in the United Kingdom. She has worked extensively with people facing family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, and those seeking to rebuild motivation, self-esteem and confidence while navigating life changes.
She aims to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Lin listens carefully and works collaboratively with each person to help identify the way forward that feels right for them, offering support and encouragement throughout the process.
Lin recognises that seeking change takes courage, and she is committed to supporting and empowering clients as they take those first steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life. If a client knows they will only be able to commit to one or two months, Lin asks that they mention this at the start so the work can be focused accordingly. While she believes longer-term work – months rather than weeks – often allows for more thorough exploration and helps reduce the chance of issues recurring, she is realistic about practical constraints such as household budgets and rising winter fuel costs and will adapt the approach to achieve the most useful outcome in the time available.
Many people ask whether online therapy genuinely helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists working online are licensed professionals, and you have the option to change therapists if you feel another fit would be better. Online therapy offers a practical and effective route for many people seeking support with everyday mental health challenges.
