Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with over 14 years experience working with adults and teens. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, relationship issues, depression, motivation, self esteem and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I provide support, guidance and accountability with kindness and humor. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or significant life changes, making the decision to ask for help takes courage and is the hardest and most important step. Asking for support can be the most difficult part of the journey, so well done for making the decision to put your mental health first!
My belief is that the counseling process is a collaborative partnership between therapist and client(s). Working together, we will explore current concerns and develop realistic goals. My theory of counseling is Adlerian, which is based on the notion that people are responsible for their behavior, thoughts, and feelings. As an Adlerian counselor, it is my belief that each of us is searching for significance and belonging. Based upon early experiences in life, we develop ways to strive for this significance. Over the course of time, however, we may find that some of these constructed methods are no longer helpful. As a result, we find ourselves discouraged and disconnected from ourselves and others in various aspects of life. In counseling, we will explore areas including your early experiences, belief system, personality style, and coping mechanisms to identify and understand what exactly is no longer working for you. We may focus upon thoughts, feelings and/or behaviors, and a variety of techniques may be introduced. Based upon your insights, we will work together to identify an action-oriented approach for you to achieve your goals.

Lauren Grogman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 14 years of experience working with adults and teens. She helps people address stress and anxiety, adjust to life transitions, manage relationship difficulties, and work through depression, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence concerns.
Lauren creates an open, safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. She provides support, guidance, and accountability delivered with kindness and a sense of humor. Lauren recognizes that deciding to ask for help is a courageous and often difficult first step, and she encourages those who prioritize their mental health.
Her approach to counseling is collaborative – therapist and client work together to explore current concerns and set realistic goals. Lauren practices from an Adlerian perspective, which holds that people are responsible for their behaviors, thoughts, and feelings and that each person seeks a sense of significance and belonging. Early life experiences shape the strategies people use to pursue that sense of meaning, and over time some of those patterns can become unhelpful, leaving individuals discouraged or disconnected.
In therapy with Lauren, clients may examine early experiences, core beliefs, personality style, and coping mechanisms to identify what is no longer working. Work may focus on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and a variety of techniques may be offered. Based on insight gained in sessions, Lauren partners with clients to develop an action-oriented plan to reach their goals.
She welcomes questions about therapy and is available to discuss how she can support your goals.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care for most situations.
A major benefit of virtual sessions is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that fits their needs and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they seek a different fit. For many people, the convenience and accessibility of online therapy make it a practical option for addressing everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
