Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Dr. LaKisha Hudson- many just call me Dr. KiKi. I’m the founder of Zen’n’ish®, where we take a holistic and down-to-earth approach to healing. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping people navigate life’s challenges while creating space for joy, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
My academic journey reflects my deep passion for understanding people. I earned my B.S. in Psychology, M.Ed. in Guidance & Counseling, and Ed.S. in Counseling from the University of South Carolina. I went on to earn a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology with a Creative Expression endorsement from Sofia University, and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health & Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. I also hold a post-graduate certificate in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and licensed K–12 School Counselor. I also bring a unique integrative perspective, blending evidence-based clinical skills with creative, mindful, and transpersonal techniques.
In therapy, I provide a safe and affirming space for both individuals and couples. My specialties include navigating relationship and sexuality concerns such as communication issues, intimacy challenges, low desire, disconnection, kink, infidelity, anxiety, and more. Whether you’re processing trauma, rebuilding trust, or exploring new dynamics, I meet you with compassion and real talk.
Together, we’ll tune in to what’s working, release what’s not, and co-create a plan toward your version of well-being: mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Let’s do this in a way that feels honest, grounded, and sustainable. Your healing doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.
