Kristin Taylor is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker practicing in Massachusetts with 36 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Social Work and is licensed to practice as an independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts. She also earned a BS in Education and received her Master of Social Work from the University of New England in 1994.
For more than three decades Kristin has worked with individuals and couples who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, parenting and family conflicts, relationship and intimacy-related issues, addictions, trauma and abuse, anger management, low self-esteem, career difficulties, ADHD, sleeping disorders, and other life adjustments. The last 15 years of her career have been spent in private practice within a holistic wellness center.
Her approach is eclectic and holistic, meeting people where they are and introducing supportive practices that aim to restore balance and create sustainable change. She draws from mindfulness techniques, solution-focused methods, strength-based perspectives, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic work that helps clients connect with their bodily experience from the inside out.
When appropriate and of interest, Kristin incorporates inner child work, breath work, and yoga into the therapeutic process. She emphasizes a collaborative, respectful environment and strives to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to move forward in their healing and personal growth.
Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most individuals.
One notable advantage of online therapy is flexibility - clients can choose the format that fits their needs and lifestyle, including video sessions, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to attend sessions consistently and integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they seek a different fit. For many people, remote therapy provides a practical, effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while maintaining access to professional support.
