Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Mental health exists on a continuum. Whether there is a mental health diagnosis or not, we all slide back and forth on the scale between wellness and struggling as our health (mental or physical), access to care, social support, nutrition, working environments, family or community connections, housing situations, and broader social/political/national/global climates change.
We all react differently to stressors, but know that we all do react! No reaction is wrong, some just need to be adjusted to alleviate harm or distress in a healthy way.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I have been providing therapeutic and support services to diverse populations with diverse needs as a social worker since 2014. I have worked as a therapist in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient programs, community-based agencies, residential drug and alcohol centers and privately. Throughout my career I have worked with those on all points of the mental health spectrum- adjustment disorders, depression or bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety, stress disorders, personality disorders, and those struggling with psychosocial stressors.
My approach is always collaborative – working together to address and discover your needs. I am so happy to return to Betterhelp as a therapist! I can be flexible on days and times, those are not set in stone. Phone, messaging and chat are available- I do not provide video therapy at this time.
Kudos to you for starting your journey to wellness. I am here to be your ally.

Mental health exists on a continuum, and Kristen Edwards frames wellbeing as a shifting balance that can move toward wellness or toward struggle as circumstances change. Factors such as physical health, access to care, social supports, nutrition, work and housing conditions, family and community ties, and broader social or political climates can all influence where a person falls on that scale.
She recognizes that people respond to stress in many different ways and that there are no inherently wrong reactions – some responses simply need adjustment to reduce harm or ongoing distress. Kristen works collaboratively with each person to identify practical, humane ways to change patterns that cause pain or interfere with functioning.
