She does not believe in telling clients what to do or giving them answers, but will help guide them to find their own way.Kia practices from a CBT/Humanistic framework, but will bring in other therapeutic approaches if it is deemed
they would work better with the client. She also believes that therapy does not occur only when therapist and client are interacting. To keep the client engaged between session and to give them opportunities to try out the skills learned in session, between-session work will be given as appropriate.

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist remotely can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One key benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and individuals may change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. For many people facing everyday mental health and relationship challenges, remote therapy offers a practical and accessible way to get consistent support.
