Kelsey Hackler earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of South Florida in 2012 and has built a 12-year career in the mental health field in Florida. She is licensed in Florida as a clinical social worker and has worked across a range of clinical settings addressing many different diagnoses.
Over nearly a decade she has focused on supporting people living with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anger management concerns, low self-esteem, and trauma-related issues. Her clinical background includes extensive hands-on experience with these conditions.
Her primary aim is for each client to leave a session feeling heard, understood, and validated. She works to help clients develop confidence in navigating life’s challenges, to feel less alone, to know someone cares, and to recognize that their problems are not insurmountable.
Drawing on an eclectic mix of theoretical approaches, methodologies, and therapeutic techniques, she tailors treatment to fit each person’s needs. This flexibility allows her to create a realistic, individualized plan that aligns with a client’s comfort level, personality, spirituality, and everyday lifestyle preferences.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Another factor is access to licensed professionals. Clients work with licensed therapists and have the option to change providers if they need a different fit. For many people, the combination of effectiveness and convenience makes online therapy a practical and impactful choice.
