Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Social Worker who has been in the field for 5 years. I have most experience working in women’s issues, trauma, and family/couple’s therapy. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor specializing in addiction, and trained in Prolonged Exposure for treating PTSD.
I am passionate about helping people fully reach and live in their definition of wellness. My style is interactive and warm, I like to help my clients feel as comfortable as possible. I think it’s great if we can laugh in the therapy space. I use a combination of CBT, DBT skills, structured problem solving, and REBT. However, our treatment plan is driven by the client’s goals.
Starting therapy is never easy, but I hope to make it as positive of an experience as possible for each of my clients. I’m honored to go on the journey with you!

Kelsey Devries is a licensed social worker in Michigan with nine years of clinical experience. She focuses on helping people move toward their own definition of wellness, working with individuals across a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, self-esteem, coping with life changes, relationship issues, family conflicts, grief, intimacy-related issues, parenting challenges, anger management, depression, and compassion fatigue.
She brings specialized training to her work as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has training in Prolonged Exposure therapy for treating PTSD. Her approach is interactive and warm, aiming to make clients feel comfortable and supported – she values moments of levity in the therapy space when appropriate.
Kelsey draws on evidence-informed techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, structured problem solving, and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), while ensuring that the treatment plan follows each client’s goals. Beginning therapy can be difficult, and she strives to make the experience as positive and collaborative as possible. She considers it an honor to accompany clients on that journey.
Many people wonder whether online therapy makes a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, remote therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the format that fits your schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That convenience can make it easier to maintain consistency and integrate therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals who provide evidence-informed treatment, and clients may choose to switch practitioners if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can be a practical option for addressing many everyday mental health and relationship concerns while offering the adaptability many people need.
