Kelly Conlon

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi! My name is Kelly and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with 7 years of experience working in mental health. I received my undergraduate degree in Childhood & Family Development from the University of Georgia and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in California. In graduate school, I worked with college students, Alzheimer’s patients & their families, and also offered spiritual counseling. After graduating and moving back to Georgia, I gained experience working in a variety of treatment settings, including mental health hospitals, residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, outpatient substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice offices with clients spanning many ages and presenting problems.

I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to feel safe and capable of creating and living a fulfilling life. Seeking therapy and being vulnerable can be extremely difficult and I believe in treating my clients with the utmost respect and compassion along the way. I work with individuals, couples, and families with presenting problems such as: life transitions/ phase-of-life problems, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship or marital problems, family dynamics and clients identifying as highly sensitive. I draw from a variety of treatment modalities and operate from a client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and personality in order to best help them achieve their goals. I will give you the push you need to learn you are worthy of feeling empowered and confident to take on life’s challenges and I’ll even throw in some humor along the way!

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, exploring, hiking, traveling, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family, friends and fur-children.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether virtual therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to work as effectively as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to maintain consistent care and fit sessions into a busy life. All participating providers are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, practical path to addressing everyday mental health needs and relationship concerns while accommodating modern lifestyles.
