Katie Bifulco, Dip. Couns MBACP (Accred), welcomes visitors to her profile with a calm and professional presence. She understands that asking for help can feel difficult when life becomes challenging, and she aims to offer a supportive space in which people can explore what to do next.
Katie is a person-centred (humanistic) therapist who listens without judgement and works with both male and female clients. She has five years of experience in private practice and is an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), holding a Diploma in Counselling (Dip. Couns) and MBACP (Accred) status.
Her work covers a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, trauma and abuse, grief and bereavement, relationship and family issues, parenting challenges, anger, coping with life changes such as redundancy, illness or retirement, and career-related difficulties. She also supports people experiencing post-natal depression, baby loss, fertility or IVF struggles, and other pregnancy-related issues including terminations.
Katie has experience supporting clients on the autistic spectrum and those with ADHD. She has worked with people diagnosed with BPD (EUPD) and practises DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy). She also has a particular interest in working with women who are struggling with the menopause. Katie describes herself as non-religious and identifies as an older, female therapist with a liberal outlook.
She offers a professional and safe environment and looks forward to hearing from people who are ready to explore their concerns and take the next steps toward feeling better.
