Kathryn Eden is a licensed clinical social worker with 34 years of professional experience who works with adults and young adults, including those transitioning to independent living or coping with the demands of college. She helps people manage stress and anxiety, relationship concerns, depression, grief, compassion fatigue, self-esteem challenges, family issues, and other life adjustments.
She views each person as the expert in their own story and collaborates with clients to build on their existing strengths. Kathryn supports clients in increasing self-awareness, processing emotions, and learning practical skills to meet developmental and situational challenges.
Her approach is client-centered and delivered in a caring, compassionate atmosphere. She integrates insight-oriented, supportive, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavior therapy techniques, tailoring care to each individual rather than fitting concerns into a single diagnostic category.
Kathryn also recognizes the value of the human-animal bond and supports clients in using their relationships with pets to help reduce current distressing symptoms, even when working together in an online format. She has dedicated her career to enhancing mental health and well-being, guided by the belief that mental and physical health are closely connected and both deserve careful attention.

Many people ask whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
The flexibility of online care is one of its greatest benefits – clients can meet with a therapist in the format that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or reach support from a convenient location.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may change therapists if they want a different fit. For many people facing everyday mental health challenges, remote therapy is a practical and effective option that can support progress in the same ways as face-to-face work.
