Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Marriage and Family therapist based in London, with over 16 years experience counselling individuals in private practice, community centres and professional settings. I have worked with clients from a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life changes, life transition, self worth/esteem, communication skills, emotional awareness and mindfulness work.
My therapy style looks at your specific needs, wants and goals. Each session is a collaborative effort to build trust, respect, empathy and compassion. My approach combines cognitive therapy( looking at thought patterns and how they effect our behaviour), emotionally focused therapy(how we internalise emotions and express them), followed by narrative therapy/mindfulness(how to change negative patterns and emotions). This approach is exclusively focused on the needs of each individual client and learning how to work with your unique thoughts, behaviours and emotions.
Therapy is a difficult process but the goal is for each individual to gain a better understanding and how to work with yourself for a better tomorrow. I am here when you feel ready to take the first step.
I look forward to working with you and helping to empower lasting change.

Justin Dowdall is a Marriage and Family therapist based in the United Kingdom with 11 years of experience providing counselling in private practice, community centres and professional settings.
He has supported people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life changes and transitions, self-worth and self-esteem, communication difficulties, emotional awareness and mindfulness work.
His therapy style is shaped around each client’s individual needs, goals and preferences. Sessions are collaborative and aim to build trust, respect, empathy and compassion.
Justin combines cognitive therapy (examining thought patterns and how they affect behaviour), emotionally focused therapy (how emotions are internalised and expressed), and narrative therapy together with mindfulness (approaches for shifting unhelpful patterns and emotions). This blend is applied exclusively to the priorities of each client to help them learn to work with their own thoughts, behaviours and feelings.
Therapy can be challenging, but the objective is for each person to develop a clearer understanding of themselves and practical ways to move toward a better tomorrow. Justin is available when someone feels ready to take the first step and looks forward to helping empower lasting change.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists if they would prefer a different fit. For many people, these features make online therapy a practical and accessible option when seeking support.
