About

Juliette Hayden is a qualified and insured UK-based Integrative Therapist with 15 years of professional experience. She is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Reg. No 393383).

She trained as a nurse in 1993 and spent many years working in the NHS in a variety of roles before qualifying as a registered counsellor. She holds a BSc(Hons) Degree in Therapeutic Counselling, a Bachelor of Science with Honours in the practice of counselling.

Alongside her work with clients she volunteers for a UK charity that supports victims of sexual trauma and domestic abuse, and she also gives her time at the local Hospice in Salisbury, supporting people with a terminal diagnosis and their families.

Juliette is a mother of four, two of whom are autistic, and she understands both the rewards and the challenges of parenting autistic children. She has a particular interest in supporting carers of autistic children.

Having experienced chronic pain herself, Juliette developed a strong interest in the brain-body connection and in ways the body can be used to communicate calm to the brain. She understands how chronic pain and long-term illness can affect daily life and relationships, and she has a special interest in supporting people who are managing chronic illness and pain.

Her clinical experience also includes supporting people affected by trauma and abuse, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress and loneliness, low motivation, and difficulties with self-esteem and confidence. She has worked with clients facing relationship breakdown and other life changes.

Juliette aims to create an open, non-judgemental space where thoughts and feelings can be shared safely. She works alongside clients to support and empower them through change, offering an empathic presence and practical techniques. As an Integrative Therapist she draws on a range of counselling approaches and tailors these to each person’s individual needs, helping clients move forward with greater awareness and practical tools for life.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions. A major benefit is flexibility - you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life. Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and if you find you need a different approach or a different therapist you can switch at any time. Online therapy can provide practical and timely support while offering the same therapeutic aims as in-person work.
