Julia Cho is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California (CA LMFT 140336) who has been conducting therapy since May of 2016. She holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, earned in 2017, and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside, completed in 2011.
Over her career she has worked with adults, groups, couples, families and adolescents, with most of her experience focused on addiction, substance abuse, trauma and work with incarcerated populations. Julia integrates an awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection into her approach while recognizing that each person has unique needs.
As a female, non-religious therapist, she offers a professional and approachable therapeutic presence and expresses a commitment to supporting each person through their own journey.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility - individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that works best for them, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit regular sessions into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and if someone feels the need for a different fit they are free to switch therapists at any time.
