Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a psychotherapist and counsellor who listens, supports and empowers clients to explore, identify and understand their needs helping them to achieve positive outcomes. I work integratively mainly using humanistic principles to work in relation to the present and a psychodynamic approach to explore the past and how this may be impacting currently. In addition I apply further modalities, for instance CBT and psychoanalytic work, as appropriate to enable the client to make sense of their world and their interventions within it – I do not believe that one approach suits all.
I have 5+ years providing therapy, both in short and long-term work, supporting 16+ adults with a wide range of issues. Focus areas include abuse (emotional, physical and sexual), anxiety, attachment, confidence and self-esteem, depression, self-harm, ptsd and complex trauma. I also have an interest in chronic/long term health conditions and unexplained pain that may have roots in physical or emotional trauma.

Julia Anne Worrow is a psychotherapist and counsellor who listens, supports and empowers people to explore, identify and understand their needs so they can work toward positive outcomes.
She works in an integrative way, drawing mainly on humanistic principles to focus on the present and using a psychodynamic approach to examine how the past may be affecting life now. She also applies other modalities, including cognitive behavioural techniques and psychoanalytic ideas, when these are appropriate – believing that no single approach fits every person.
Julia has 6 years of experience providing both short-term and long-term therapy and has supported 16+ adults with a wide range of issues. Her areas of focus include abuse (emotional, physical and sexual), anxiety, attachment difficulties, confidence and self-esteem, depression, self-harm, PTSD and complex trauma. She is also interested in chronic and long-term health conditions and unexplained pain that may have roots in physical or emotional trauma.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Each therapist involved is a licensed professional, and if you decide you want a different fit you are free to switch to another therapist at any time.
