About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and my graduate degree in Counseling from University of Houston-Victoria. I have worked in the mental health field in a variety of ways for the past 4 years. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including: intellectual and developmental disabilities, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, mood disorders, as well as ADHD. I’ve also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

I believe that given the chance and armed with the skills needed, anyone can accomplish what they have set out to do. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I believe in walking alongside my clients as they go through their personal journey. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach but tailor my approach to the needs of the client.

It takes courage to recognize that a change needs to happen in someone’s life. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most situations. One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain consistent care. Licensed professionals provide these services, and if a different fit is desired, clients have the option to switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers an accessible way to work with trained therapists while preserving many of the same therapeutic approaches used in face-to-face settings.
