Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there! My name is Jenny and I have been a licensed marriage and family therapist in Washington State for 9 years. I received my degree at Seattle Pacific University in 2012. I am also certified in Medical Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. I have worked with clients of all ages around a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family of origin issues, career/school concerns, parenting, self-esteem, grief and loss, chronic health issues, transitional periods, trauma, PTSD, autism, ADHD and pregnancy and postpartum.
I am a systemic therapist which means I like to explore all of the systems a person is involved with. This helps create the most dynamic picture of what is fulfilling a person as well as what could be creating stress or dysfunction. My goal is to assist clients in identifying and expressing feelings and changing unsatisfying roles, patterns and attitudes. I also work from a solution focused view which means I believe it is most beneficial to focus on solutions rather than problems. I place great emphasis on empowering and supporting clients in their journey to achieve their goals.
I will commit to being open, respectful, curious and accountable to you and what we work on in the therapy process. Therapy can be a difficult and painful process however it can also be very satisfying and rewarding. We will create goals together in which we will strive to achieve.
I look forward to working with you!
