About

Hi, My name is Jennifer Price and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinic Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and also have a Masters in Public Administration and a Bachelors in Journalism and Public Communications both from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. My experience ranges from elementary aged children to all ages of adults and I’ve worked in crisis counseling, public agencies and private practice. I’m also a yoga teacher (RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance) and love integrating mindfulness into therapy if my clients are open to it. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with clients in establishing and working towards their goals. My hope is that clients will learn new and healthier ways of living and gain a greater ability to treat themselves and others with compassion.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy is often comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person counseling. One of the main benefits is the flexibility it provides – individuals can choose the format that fits their life best, including video sessions, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to attend sessions without rearranging a full day. Licensed professionals provide care through these channels, and therapists can be changed if someone wants a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical option for many people seeking support for everyday mental health challenges and life transitions.
