Jayne Sinclair is a UK-based therapist with 15 years of professional experience. She is an integrative counsellor who adopts a holistic approach, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques to connect with and support each person she works with on different levels.
She is also a fully qualified hypnotherapist with 13 years' experience helping adults to emotionally heal from grief and loss, anxiety, childhood trauma, PTSD, OCD, persistent negative thought patterns and other difficult life experiences. Hypnotherapy is one of the approaches she uses alongside counselling within her practice.
Over the course of a broad counselling career Jayne has supported people with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, parenting concerns, family separation, anger, childhood trauma, low mood and depression, self-esteem and confidence issues, motivation and finding direction, and life coaching.
Jayne also has 14 years' experience working with and supporting young people, having worked in both primary and secondary schools alongside her private practice. She uses creative methods with children and young people, including art-based activities, writing, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques.
Taking the first step and reaching out for support often takes courage, and Jayne aims to support clients as they take those steps toward a more fulfilling, happier life.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns - including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes - online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is the flexibility it offers. Clients can choose the communication method that feels most comfortable - video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging - which can make it easier to fit therapy into daily life.
Therapists who work online are licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different match they can switch to another therapist at any time.
