I am licensed in Florida with 3 1/2 years of professional work experience. I graduated with my master’s degree in Missouri from UMSL. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, & abuse. My work experience includes one on one counseling to those who have wanted to work through relationship failures, traumas, and those working to improve different aspects of their life to become their healthiest version of self. In addition I work with individuals to help them to identify any behaviors that can be impairing to aspects of their life. My goal is to help my clients to improve in themselves and to develop healthy functioning relationships to assist them in living a more fulfilling life. With that being said it starts with working on one’s self to become the best version they can be.
My counseling style involves using a collaborative approach in order for us both to be apple to work together as a team. This approach I use involves cognitive behavioral , mindfulness, solution focused, and relational counseling. I promote a nonjudgmental, supportive space where I will work to assist clients in developing self-awareness and healthier communication techniques.
I look forward to helping my clients develop healthy relationships with other human beings without it becoming an emotional roller coaster ride filled with anger and hurt. In congruence with this I also want to assist my clients in creating a sense of emotional well-being to develop a more confident sense of self and fulfilling life. Hayley Miller is a Florida-licensed mental health counselor (FL LMHC MH21139) with four years of professional experience. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) and practices in Florida.
Hayley works with adults on a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and family conflicts, trauma and abuse, addictions, grief, intimacy-related issues, anger, self-esteem, and coping with life changes. Her background includes one-on-one counseling with individuals seeking to move past relationship setbacks, process traumatic experiences, and improve various areas of life to become healthier and more resilient.
In therapy she helps clients identify behaviors that may be impairing their functioning and supports them in developing healthier patterns and stronger relationships. Hayley uses a collaborative, team-oriented approach and draws from cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and relational counseling.
As a female, non-religious therapist, she aims to provide a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where clients can build self-awareness and practice clearer communication. Her goal is to help clients establish emotionally balanced relationships, reduce cycles of anger and hurt, and cultivate greater confidence and fulfillment.
