Felicity Woolsey is a humanistic (person centred) counsellor based in the United Kingdom with five years' experience. She focuses on understanding root causes and, where helpful, combining talking therapy with evidence-based coping strategies such as CBT and DBT.
She teaches the core skills of DBT - emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness - and provides a calm, non-judgemental and empathic space for clients to be themselves.
Felicity is an individual member of the NCPS (accredited) and runs a private practice where she works with a variety of client groups. Her background includes facilitating group therapies in substance misuse rehabilitation and on mental health wards, using DBT as part of treatments for BPD.
She also works with couples and families, young people, and those affected by addiction and substance misuse, including porn/sex addiction and gambling. Her practice covers eating disorders, complex mental health presentations, anxiety, depression, phobias, work-related stress, relationship difficulties and clients of different sexualities. Felicity draws on her own life experiences to offer understanding and empathy. For more information visit www.fwcounselling.co.uk. She looks forward to hearing from you.
