Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am credentialed in the United Kingdom with 3 years of professional work experience and have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as a BSc in Psychology.
I believe that therapy can offer a mirror for you to begin to examine yourself and your emotions, often for the first time. Sometimes, we don’t know what it is that makes us feel the way we do, and it’s with this mirror we can begin to start to explore what lies underneath our feelings. Ultimately, this is a collaborative process between client and therapist, working together to deepen your understanding and progress therapeutic change.
I am able to tailor my approach towards what you feel are your needs to be able to address the issues you are facing. As a result, while my early training is in the Person-Centred Approach – I have a keen interest in Existential Therapy as well as adopting CBT & DBT techniques should you feel you need more hands on techniques for coping, managing your emotions or just to start getting by. The best approach to practice changes throughout your therapeutic journey and I can offer a flexibility that can best cater for your needs while we work together.
I work with clients with a wide variety of issues from Anxiety and Depression to Abuse and Loss. However, in particular, I am passionate about working with the following issues in which I have gained Counselling experience:
Addiction and Recovery – I have worked in multiple roles as an addiction counsellor for both charities and within the NHS. I have worked with clients at different stages in their recovery journey; from still using, to the ‘just for today’ period, and finally towards establishing meaning without (or with an altered relationship with) drugs and alcohol. Counselling can be a useful tool in your recovery journey, no matter whereabouts you are with it at the moment.
LGBTQIA+ – I have worked as a Counsellor for an LGBTQ+ charity, where I have worked with clients who are transitioning gender as well as those who are beginning to explore their sexual identity or are experiencing difficulties in life related to their identity. I am a LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and offer a non-judgemental and safe space for you to explore without fear or doubt.
Men’s Issues – I recognise that for many Men, coming to therapy can be particularly daunting. For many of us, since childhood, we have been encouraged to downplay and minimise our emotions. As a result, it can be difficult to express how we are really feeling or even to just understand it ourselves. Much of my practice can work towards helping develop that emotional literacy to begin to identify, unpack and explore many of these difficult and intangible emotions.

Fabian Wood is a UK-credentialed therapist with three years of professional experience. He holds an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BSc in Psychology, and brings a thoughtful, reflective approach to his clinical work.
Fabian sees therapy as a kind of mirror that helps people begin to notice and make sense of their feelings – sometimes for the first time. He frames the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process in which client and therapist work together to deepen understanding and support meaningful change.
His practice is adaptable to each person’s needs. While his foundational training is in the Person-Centred Approach, he has a strong interest in Existential therapy and uses CBT and DBT techniques when more structured coping tools are helpful. Fabian prefers to match methods to the stage of a client’s journey, offering flexibility as needs evolve.
He works with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, abuse and loss. He has particular experience and commitment to addiction and recovery work – having served in multiple roles as an addiction counsellor for charities and within the NHS. Fabian has supported people at various points in recovery, from continued use through ‘just for today’ stages and into rebuilding a sense of meaning with an altered relationship to drugs or alcohol.
Fabian is also experienced in LGBTQIA+ work, having been a counsellor for an LGBTQ+ charity and supported people who are transitioning, exploring sexual identity, or facing identity-related difficulties. He identifies as an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and aims to provide a non-judgemental, safe space for exploration.
He recognises that many men find entering therapy difficult due to social expectations that discourage emotional expression. Much of his work supports the development of emotional literacy so men can identify, unpack and explore difficult or hard-to-name emotions.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or major life transitions – remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice have shown it works well for a wide range of everyday mental health needs.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. People can connect in the way that fits their life and comfort level, choosing between video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it simpler to keep up with regular sessions and to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if someone feels another clinician would be a better match they can switch at any time. For many individuals, online therapy provides a convenient, practical route to support and progress.
