Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
About
Hi! My name is Erica Smith Jimenez and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families specializing in support for teens and parents.
I enjoy working with clients with a focus on assisting them in managing emotions, developing positive coping strategies, deepening relationships with others and navigating conflicts in their lives while fostering improved self-esteem.
I offer a safe space to dig into issues that are causing stagnation, sadness, frustration, pain, loneliness, and/or fear and focus on helping to foster more positive emotions with a non-judgmental and strength-based perspective. My style is direct, nurturing and down to earth. I bring an engaged and authentic presence to each session. I have seen, throughout my experience, how much positive change can occur when the optimal support is available, and I will routinely offer that to all my clients. It is with empathy, compassion, humility, experience, training and skill that I offer my clients a therapeutic relationship and tools for working through their struggles. Each person is unique with their own specific needs and I tailor my approach dependent upon those needs.
My goal is to provide my clients with tools needed so they can live a happier and healthier life!

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
All therapists providing online services are licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different fit would be better, it is possible to switch therapists at any time. For many people facing everyday mental health concerns, online therapy offers an accessible and effective way to get support and work toward meaningful change.
