Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I start therapy with radical acceptance crossed with family systems understanding. I am highly trained in anxiety, trauma, family issues/therapy, and experiential resilience to counter fear and phobias. I consider the whole person and their place in their life system(s). I use humor liberally to foster connectedness to the person, place, life of my clients. I tend to have a science/biology-based focus on how the human body influences and is influenced by the mind.

Elsbeth Riemer brings a twenty-year practice in Massachusetts that blends radical acceptance with a family systems perspective. She is highly trained in working with anxiety, trauma, family issues and therapy, and in experiential resilience techniques designed to address fear and phobias, and she considers how those concerns live inside a person and inside their relationships and environments.
Her work takes the whole person into account – mind, body and the life systems they inhabit – with attention to how biological processes shape emotional experience and how emotions influence the body. She uses humor liberally to build connection and ease within sessions, helping clients engage with difficult material while feeling seen and supported.
Elsbeth holds Master of Arts degrees and is licensed both as a marriage and family therapist and as a mental health counselor, bringing clinical training and practical tools to support change over time.
