Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I believe that everyone deserves time and a safe space for self-care, where individuals can be heard without judgement. I also believe that everyone deserves to work through concerns while feeling supported when making difficult decisions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been working in mental health for almost 20 years. I have worked with people who have been diagnosed with: Bi-polar, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and life-limiting medical illnesses, as well as people dealing with grief, phobias, relationship and school issues. I have worked in community, inpatient, outpatient and hospital settings. I like to utilize a variety of treatment modalities because I have found that a “one size fits all” approach to mental health, is about as relatable to most people as a one size fits all bathing suit. I am proud of you for reaching out and I look forward to working with you.

Elizabeth Bourne creates a calm, nonjudgmental space where people can take time for self-care and feel supported while they work through difficult choices.
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in New York with two decades of experience in mental health. Over the course of her career she has worked with people diagnosed with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, various mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and life-limiting medical illnesses, as well as individuals coping with grief, phobias, relationship challenges, and school-related concerns.
Her experience spans community, inpatient, outpatient, and hospital settings, and she draws from a range of treatment approaches because a one size fits all method – like a one size fits all bathing suit – rarely fits most people. Elizabeth acknowledges the courage it takes to reach out and looks forward to supporting those who choose to begin therapy with her.
Many people ask whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit of remote therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best, choosing from video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists who offer online care are licensed professionals, and if someone wants a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time.
