I am licensed in the UK with 9 years of professional work experience. I work with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, such as; depression, struggling with motivation, anxiety, self-esteem, procrastination, relationship difficulties, stress, sadness, life transitions etc.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I work in a way that is unique to the person and I tailor my approach based on the individual’s needs or specific requests. From my experience I believe that we can go a long way to reducing our suffering by working on how we relate or respond to our thoughts and feelings when they arise. The main approaches I draw on are Psychodynamic (how the past/your history plays a role in the present), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (working with core values and improving our relationship with self) and Compassion Focused therapy (how we can cultivate more understanding and compassion for ourselves).
You don’t always need a reason though to seek Therapy. The therapeutic space it can be a place of comfort and safety or a place to upload what’s happening in your life without feeling anxious of how other people might respond or feel.
