Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in the UK with 7 years of professional work experience. I am a person centred therapist who trained at LCANDCTA. I hold an array of CPD qualifications including level 4 in substance misuse and women in danger of domestic violence abuse and prevention. I co-authored research on addiction highlighting problem gambling- which was presented at the BACP’s national research conference 2016 and received some acclaim .
I have been in private practice since September 2017.
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can speak of your issues, without feeling judged and be assured that you don’t need to face them alone. Person Centred Therapy is client led, this means I work in a non directive way, the client has total control of what they bring to each session. I do not give advice, but at times I may offer suggestions.
I work via the platform either by phone sessions or video session. I do not give homework to clients as it’s not part of the module I trained. Talking therapy can be a very effective way for a client to gain a greater understanding of themselves and manage difficult times.
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons each unique to that individual. I offer short term or long term therapy depending on your needs. I work collaboratively with clients and believe the relationship between the client and the therapist makes a difference in enabling the client to be released from their troubles and to have a sense of freedom.

Elaine Doyle is licensed in the United Kingdom and has 7 years of professional experience in counselling and psychotherapy. She trained in person-centred therapy at LCANDCTA and maintains an array of continuing professional development qualifications, including a Level 4 qualification in substance misuse and training focused on women at risk of domestic violence, abuse, and prevention.
Elaine has contributed to research on addiction with a co-authored study that highlighted problem gambling; this work was presented at the BACP national research conference in 2016 and received positive recognition. She has been in private practice since September 2017.
Working from a person-centred perspective, Elaine offers a non-directive, client-led approach in which the client determines the focus of each session. She does not give formal homework as part of her practice, since this was not included in the module she trained in, and she does not offer directive advice, although she may at times make gentle suggestions.
Elaine provides a supportive and confidential space where people can talk about their difficulties without fear of judgment and with the reassurance that they are not facing them alone. She delivers sessions by phone or video and offers both short-term and long-term therapy depending on individual needs.
Elaine works collaboratively with clients and believes the therapeutic relationship itself can help people move beyond their troubles and regain a sense of freedom and well-being.
Many people wonder whether remote sessions really make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if someone feels a different fit would help, it is possible to switch therapists. Online therapy can make consistent support more accessible while offering many of the same therapeutic benefits as face-to-face work.
