I am a BACP-registered and insured counsellor with 9 years of professional experience, gained through work in both the charity sector and private practice in Northern Ireland. I hold a Foundation Degree in Counselling (2017), an Honours Degree in Counselling and Professional Issues (2020), and a Level 6 Certificate in Counselling Supervision.
I am trauma-informed and have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including relationship difficulties, neurodivergence, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, anger management, self esteem and spiritual exploration.
My integrative approach draws from existential, psychodynamic, person-centred, and focusing-oriented therapies. I work relationally, paying close attention to emotional depth, embodied experience, and the personal scripts that shape how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
I believe that you are the expert of your own story and that you already possess many of the strengths you need to navigate life’s challenges. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and authentic life, and taking that first step is something to be proud of. I’m here to support and empower you on that journey, and I look forward to hearing from you.
**Important Update – Effective from Monday 14th April 2025**
In line with the BACP Ethical Framework and to ensure a safe and focused therapeutic space, I will now be offering **weekly phone, video, and live chat sessions only** for all new clients.
**Asynchronous messaging** will be limited to **practical matters only**—such as scheduling, sharing resources, or session-related materials.
You are welcome to use the message space as a personal journal; however, these entries will **not receive a therapeutic response**.
This update has been made to support clear boundaries and to ensure that therapeutic work is contained within our scheduled sessions.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing trust.

Asynchronous messaging will be limited to practical matters only – for example scheduling, sharing resources, or session-related materials. Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the format that suits you best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life or to access support when in-person options are difficult.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and it is possible to change therapists if you feel another fit would suit you better. For many people, remote therapy provides an accessible, practical way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work without sacrificing the quality of care.
