I have a keen interest in supporting the healing process with mindfulness techniques and I also employ Cognitive Behavioural psychoeducational interventions, when exploring strategies for regulating somatic trauma responses. I work using a Person-Centred and Psychodynamic foundational approach and incorporate Solution-focused approaches in short-term therapy to ensure your expectations are managed and met concerning single and multiple issues.
I am experienced in working with a diverse client base experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including but not exhaustively: complex grief and trauma, racial discrimination, anxiety, feelings of alienation or isolation. LGBTQIA+ clients welcome. As an ally I welcome you into this safe space. I am committed to delivering 1-2-1 online support that empowers and facilitates therapeutic growth through evidence-based counselling approaches. I offer short term (12 weeks) and longer term (24 weeks+) counselling provision.
