Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Today’s world is full of complications and barriers to finding ease in being our authentic selves. The beautiful inner spirit that makes us who we are as individuals is often masked with grief from heavy losses in life, finding too much on our plates each day, and bumping into the strain that others around us are also carrying. I believe in the strengths that reside within us all, as humans. I love being a therapist because this role allows me to work with individuals from all different backgrounds in a supportive way as these individuals look to reignite who they really are on the inside. This world often gives us more than we need to get off track. I believe every person can benefit from therapy at any point in their lifespan that they choose to reach out. Human connection and understanding is key to our wellness. I am here to provide a non-judgemental, supportive hand to your journey.
I graduated from Howard University, Washington, D.C. with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I focused my studies on gerontology and the transitions we face in life as we age. I worked for a Hospice provider for nearly 7 years supporting individuals, families, and human service/medical employees as they engaged with the most intense life transitions. This clinical background aided me in rooting my personal therapeutic practice around existentialism (a fancy word for finding meaning in life), inner human strengths, and mindfulness (being present in this moment).
I look forward to working with individuals who are wanting to feel better in these times. I believe there are many things we can do together to improve our outlook on this world and what it has to offer us. No matter how small or how big you feel your issue is, I am here to listen and support you in this journey.
