Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a professional counselor licensed in Wisconsin who has over ten years of experience working with individuals from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have experience working with survivors of sexual and physical trauma, persons of color, and members of the LGBTQ community. With regard to specific conditions I have helped clients with, I have helped clients address conflicts surrounding sexual identity, feelings of marginalization, social identity, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, I have also worked with clients dealing with parenting issues, career concerns, and grief and loss. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness and focus on treating the mind, body and spirit. My counseling style is integrative, utilizing aspects of person-centered therapy, CBT, trauma informed care, and stages of change.
As the parent of a child with special needs I believe that I have knowledge and insight that may be helpful to those dealing with similar parenting challenges. I serve on the board of a non profit organization that assists families of children with special needs, most of whom are socioeconomically disadvantaged and Latino. In my free time I enjoy binge watching Jeopardy!, playing with my cat, and hosting parties for my friends and family. Regardless of your desire to seek help, I treat all of my clients with compassion, empathy and respect. My goal is to help empower you to live the best life you can, and I am excited to partner with you on that journey!

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or coping with life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit of online counseling is flexibility – clients can choose the format that best fits their routine and comfort level, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to keep up with appointments and integrate care into a busy life.
Services are provided by licensed professionals, and clients are free to switch therapists if they seek a different match. Online therapy can be a practical option for addressing everyday mental health needs while maintaining a professional therapeutic relationship.
